I recognise some names. Thought I'd say hello...

I used to hang about on the original Dudepit from around 2003ish, mostly hanging around with the Musicman crowd, got to know some of you when I figured out how to retrieve some of the lost content when the board crashed (not that it counted for anything in the end), got confused when a few key members disappeared at the beginning of 2006, then gave up on the pit in late 2006 when it became clear that it really wasn't much fun any more.

Since then I given up bass to focus on guitar and subsequently given up guitar to focus on bass. I'm buying an upright at the moment, then I'll probably go for something more solid in a couple of months. MM, G&L or Fender probably.
