Ok, so hello!
Just ran across this board. Been a member on TalkBass awhile now, but it looks pretty cool here too.
Name is Koy, sittin down here in the smack dab middle of the West Texas Prairie, desert really. In a big town that I refer to as Dirtville. Which is also the name of my band.
Been playing Bass now for about 3 years, so I am just a mere baby in the music world. Wish I had discovered it 30 years ago like the other 3 guys in the band. They put up with me though.
Anyway, good to be here...Hell, at my age, its good to be anywhere! Hope to pick up some good info, and who knows, I may even be able to occasionally impart some as well.

Thanks for having me...
Koy

Welcome, Koy! You will find that most of the guys on this board are very experienced players, but there are a few less experienced guys (like me) as well. Kick up your boots and stay awhile!

Welcome aboard Koy! [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

Plenty of us here visit or have visited TB. Lots of activity over there which can make it difficult to keep up with at times. This place moves at a slower pace comparatively, which has a lot to do with the age demographic [that you fit right in with] as well as the membership size. [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]

You sure have acquired quite a stable in your 3 years. How soon you expecting the Robin?

Thanks Boss!
Think Im gonna like it here. Everywhere I go where theres musicians to hang with, Im always the least experienced. Though I strive to be a "BaddAssBassPlayer!" I'll get there, my improvement is on an accelerated pace now that Im in with these guys. They make me better. Check the bottom of my first post this topic, for my first original write. Thanks for the welcome...

Hopefully Tuesday. Its a rare beast indeed. This Freedom was 1 of 5 That Dave Custom built in Houston, but have a ESP or Tokai neck. Its Beautiful Flamed Maple top with a see thru red alder back. We all know how rare Freedoms are to begin with, but this one is VERY Rare! Im giddy as a schoolgirl! Oh, and thanks for the roses on the others. I have since got rid of the ric and the sparkly fender, but have added a nice Carvin LB70W! Walnut & maple neckthru. Its SWEET!
