thanks everybody ! good to see the forum is still healthy !

my band hogjaw got to go on tour in europe this year. after we got done with the business they said we want you back next year, and we're booking again for next april for 5 weeks. we're really surprised at how much europeans just go banannas for loud rock and roll !

we also cut our 2nd record to vinyl, and that has really opened up new doors. a german label is issuing our first album on vinyl , and we will be having those for sale at shows or his website online. he met us in prague on the tour and offered to foot the bill for the whole production. no contracts, a punk rock handshake deal. first he said 300, then he upped it to 500 copies will be made.

its all a blur, we're finishing our 3rd full length, and our tour is paying for two weeks of studio time, 1 week of mixing and mastering. so we're hoping to keep this cycle going ,and possibly get picked up for a support slot on a US tour. that's a rough market to get into if you're not a screamo metal band.

got my mesa rig built up, pete got to hear it rattle the house. ;-)

all systems go !

thanks for fixing my link Gil !

Damon -

Great to "hear" from you.

I have to say Hogjaw is one of my favorite bands. Not much quality Southern Rock out there these days. Jonboat's voice really works well with your music. He has one of those growly Danny Joe Brown sort of voices that just really gets it.

Lemme know next time you're playing locally. Would love to hear you guys blow the roof off some place.

Welcome back Elvis!

Love Hogjaw!

Since he is too modest to toot his own horn, if you like what southern rock used to be, with all the balls/soul/chops that were lost decades ago, behold the mighty Hogjaw!

(I know it's an older tune, but I dug the shit out of this the first time I heard it!)

wow mr bass tard ! thanks so much !

what town are you in? we're booking our 2nd tour to europe now through teenage head. we haven't been picked up for an american tour yet, but we have plans to do some regional runs here and there.

our 3rd album is shaping up nicely and we have studio time blocked out in oct and nov to record it. mastering, then production , release in january and tour in april.

rock on fellas !

If you ever can get a leg in the north east, I can point you at a couple rooms around my region that will take a chance on touring bands. Never a ton of cash, but I know what rolling around in the vans is like, and I wouldn't lead you anywhere that wasn't a square deal worth the time for the night of the week. Got a couple good off night venues that include rooms, and have decent built in crowds that will buy CDs/merch. That is always gold far from home.
