Once was lost, but now is found?

A sinner reformed!

Hi, my name is Brent. I am a long time lurker on BABP, but am resolved to be a better participant. Over the years I have bought/sold gear from/to a number of you either here or over at one of the other places. I figure I would formally introduce myself.

I live in Chicago and play in a power pop trio, Daemon Familiar. We just had our CD release party at Double Door on 1/12, which was also my birthday! Making the CD, Bronotsaurus Rex, was my first recording experience, I learned so much. While I am proud of the final product, there are a million things I will do differently the next time. I can't wait, I love the process.

I've been playing mostly G&L's, but have also tried Ibanez, Danelectro and just picked up a Waterstone 12 string. I have always loved the SB-1 (I own 6 or 7), but just acquired an El Toro from Harleyyy. It blows me away! Between the Bull and the 12er I think I am revamping my sound, which will be interesting.

Anyways, that's all for now. Take care!
