Hello! I'm New!

Postby Stuart Clayton » Wed Aug 15, 2007 1:18 pm

Hi all,

Good to find yet another bass forum!

About me: My name is Stuart Clayton, I'm a bassist from the UK. I've been playing for about 17 years, and currently work as a full-time pro bassist. I play for the Carl Palmer Band (Emerson Lake & Palmer), am a staff writer for UK's Bass Guitar Magazine, and write loads of books! I've written the Level 42 Bass transcription series, the new Stu Hamm book and more, all of which you can check out on my website http://www.stuartclayton.com, and my publishing site http://www.basslinepublishing.com. I also teach at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music - I keep myself quite busy as you can see!

Music aside, I'm nuts about geeky things like reading, Transformers, Star Wars, etc etc...

Looking forward to chatting with you all, and meeting some new people!

Cheers
Stu

Welcome Stu!

Welcome Stuart! I've been subscribing and enjoying Bass Guitar mag for a few years now, not cheap to get it sent over here, but worth it. You guys seem to be ahead of the curve by interviewing cats like Ric Fierabracci etc.

Yowza. Welcome. I think I'll go post a link in the Charts & Theory forum to let the boyz know there's a new Law in town :-)

New basses are red. Used basses are black.
