BABP's Announces It's Third Limited Edition Bass From G&L !

Here it is Bad Asses. G&L will issue a rendition of the L-1000 bass exclusively for BABP's. The bass will be Fullerton, California USA made, with an alder body with rear loaded controls, six bolt neck design, and the same passive electronics masterfully designed by the late, great, Leo Fender. The following options will be offered...

Options:

Body Finishes:
Tobacco Burst
Red Burst
Clear Blue
Candy Apple Red
Black

Fingerboards:
Fretted Maple
Fretted Rosewood
Fretless Ebony

Neck finishes:
Satin
Gun Oil Tint

Neck Dimensions:
#7 12" Radius 1 3/4" at the nut
#8 12" Radius 1 1/2" at the nut

Pricing will be :
Fretted Maple or Rosewood w/Satin Neck - $1350
Fretless Ebony w/Satin Neck - $1500
Gun Oil Tint - Add $150 to the price

Also, we can definitely take international orders but there are a couple of things to be aware of. If the bass ever needs warranty service, you will be responsible for shipping the bass back to G&L (and possible back from G&L to you) at your cost unless G&L can make arrangements with a local repair shop to get the work done. I will do my best to inspect every bass that comes through. In the case of shipping damage, you must notify me within 3 business days of receiving the instrument so that I can file a claim.

My 1st impulse is either tobaccoburst w/ GOT maple or black with satin maple. Either would look great. But, redburst or clear blue would be nice as well...dang, I can't decide.

Nothing like making life easy for us, Pete--& on your birthday, no less. I've got an old fretless L1K that I like quite a bit. I've historically preferred the L1K fretless to an L2K fretless. I had to miss out on the BABP 2500 because of financial constraints, but hopefully, the L1K will something I will be able to swing. My inclination would be to go with a fretted with GOT--I've never had a maple board L1K, so that might be where my preference would be. Color--who cares!
