Gonna miss it this year. Once again my Opera schedule tangles with my NAMM schedule and wins. I already know there is no conflict for the following year so I'll see you all then.

I'll be there again this year, but without the confines of a booth. should open up opportunities to actually visit several of the suppliers I've been wanting to meet in person after years of doing business together.

I'll have a booth again for 2016, but I have to admit that I'm liking that I'm not working 18 hour days the last half of Dec getting 20 basses and 5 guitars ready for the show this year. And I'm also sleeping well not wondering if everything is going to make it back from paint so I can have it assembled and properly set-up before I get to Anaheim [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]

I also suspect that I'm not going to miss watching the sun rise on Wed morning while I'm nearing the Grapevine on south I-5 after leaving Seattle at 10A on Tue morning.

Not looking good for me this year. It doesn't look like they (NAMM) are gonna renew my friends business account. :(

We'll see.

Not this year Harry. :(

After YEARS as a NAMM member my friend's membership was denied renewal. He's a small audio post house business who's bread & butter is editing spoken word recordings. He is a member (a voting member at that) of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS), most popularly known for their Grammy Awards. He gets a pass via NARAS, so he will be there. This is his big "networking" opportunity.

Have fun guys!

First year in a while with no sauce. Some bottles exploded in people's faces last year, I need to leave how to ferment.

Add me to the growing list of BABP folks not making NAMM this year. [smilie=icon_frown.gif]

My usual contacts don't have any extra passes available this time around. You'll just have to stand in for all of us, Harry.

Actually Harry....I plan on going to the Bass San Diego post-NAMM event with Michael Tobias. If you come to that you can fill me in on what I missed...

well schnitzel, plans have unexpectedly changed :(

I'm now set to have an unscheduled surgery this week, and I just can't bring myself to think it's a good idea to scream like Ted Nugent at every breathing soul there who bumps into my freshly tied stitches yell_smilie

sure great that I didn't have a ton of $$ wrapped up into a booth I would be able to be at
