This is an interesting idea! Maybe I need a double-neck, so I don't have to have a 5-string, and I can still have the low-B. And if I do it right, it could still be an easy wear for gigs... and look hep. Hmm...

I actually like that one, I would put Piccolo Bass strings on the small neck.

I've always wanted to try a Spalt Matrix. Maybe someday...

I'm not knowlegeable on all basses, but that one looks like it has enough info acompanying it to enable you to research it.
I am, however, very familiar with the Gittler bass, as I own one.
In an interview, Gittler says that he made three basses. I have one and I know the owner of the other. The existence of the third bass has never been verified.
There is an old quote online about Miroslav Vitous having one, but it's not mentioned on his website.
I will try to contact him, and I'll post the results here.

8 months ago I sent a message to Miroslav through his management, who confirmed that the message was passed on to him, inquiring if Miroslav has or ever had a Gittler bass.

To date I haven't received a reply.

Wasn't refering to those. Was
refering to the AzzBerry neck
grafted onto the red bass. I
spoze if you put the top-horn
strap button on the headstock
of the AzzBerry neck, you'd be
immune to neck dive ....
