Killer B?

I don't know anything about Tobias Killer B's, but I see them come up for sale from time to time. Any thoughts? Also, do you think a Killer B 6 is worth $1100? I'm aware of one that's for sale for that price.

They are really nice basses but there is a difference in resale value for a gibson made tobias compared to one made by Mike.
I have played both and both are very nice, I had a gibson made one for a while, my first 5 string bass!

I owned a Killer B 6 for a while and I loved it. It played and sounded great. The only negative I can think of was that the trans red finish was a little sloppy in a couple of places. I'd pay $1100 for a nice one.

If it interests you, I recorded a cd project with mine...here's a cut:

Well, thanks fellas. I liked that whole CD myself...a buddy and myself wrote all the tunes, and he did the vocals. We recruited a couple more friends to round it all out. It sold WELL under a million copies [smilie=fun_84.gif]

Mike - you make that bass sound damn good! Over the years, I've heard you're playing on both electric and DB, and it's always impressive. Nice! [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]
