Bass VI variations

I have a hankering for a Bass VI. I will be sampling the Squier VM soon as that is readily available. Anyone here try any of the other new entrants? The Eastwood Sidejack seems interesting and I like Ed Friedlands review. They don't seem to be available locally. Any others at a reasonable price?

I've got one of the Squiers...I've also got a '62, a 2007 Custom Shop one, a 2012 or 2014 MIJ one, and one that I assembled using a USA CG neck & body. Honestly, the Squier stands up pretty well to the others...I did install one of the Stay Trem Bass VI bridges because the Squier comes with a Jaguar bridge that doesn't work well for intonation.
