Warwick Streamer 'bassic'

Good evening, ladies and gents!
I'd like to present a real unique bass, one of two!
Image

Bassic is the largest German speaking forum and Mr. Wilfer, the owner of the Warwick company offered to build a bass like the bassic members wanted to have it.
Since this year began both of those basses go to bassic members for a week and back to the W company to be cleaned and checked.
Due to illness I jumped back in the row but now it is finally here.

It really is a beauty, perfectly made. unique translucent green finish over swamp ash body wings, neck-thru bird's eye maple neck. matching head, abalone fingerboard inlays and the bassic logo at 12th fret. chrome hardware.

the neck pup is wired p-style, the rear pup is wired mm-style. controls are volume/pull passive, passive volume, stacked tone controls treble/bass, stacked tone controls active mode w/ center detent. 5-way-pup selector.

Beautiful bass Chuck, congrats! I like the look of that neck pickup, I'm a big P fan tone-wise. What options does the pickup selector give you?

Yes indeed, those are abalone inlays. Beautiful the bass in its stand in the living room and the autumn sun comes in the evening... :)

Brad, the pup selector is 1) front pup, 2) both 3) front pup plus the rear coil of the bridge pup 4) bridge pup parallel 5) bridge pup ser.

And those options work in both active and passive mode. To me the P style front pup in passive mode does not the Precision sound, no way.

PU may be part of that, but a neck-thru design
with a massive Warwick bridge isn't gonna have
P-bass tone even if you install a real Fender PU.

New basses are red. Used basses are black.
