NCD - Ampeg B15E reproduction cab made by fliptops.net

Postby aussiemark » Thu Sep 06, 2012 4:13 pm

A local tech is building me a 100 watt all tube head based on the B-15N circuit - basically an Ampeg Heritage B-15 on steroids, so while he's building that for me (in blue diamond Ampeg tolex with chrome corners) I bought a nice cab to go with it for small gigs - a fliptops.net B-15E repro cab. It's super nicely made, and with an Eminence Legend inside it sounds great too - sealed cab, no tweeter - me likey! [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif]

Patiently waiting for the head to be finished now - still 4 weeks away he says

No .... there was no $5K spend here - this is just a repro cab, nothing to do with the Ampeg Heritage series. This cab only cost me $559 including Eminence Legend speaker (+ shipping). And the 100 watt B-15 based head I'm having made is costing me $1300.
