From what I've read, it'll sound good with the mid forward and punchy GK 1x12's I will pair it with.
I don't know and I don't care,

My STM-900 cured my amp GAS. Going on 1.5 years now. You will so dig it. You've been an awfully good boy with your GAS under control for awhile now. Nice to see you popping around these parts with new gear buys.

Another happy story!

I have been a good boy. Been busy as hell with life (Nothing bad. Just busy.) and have not had the time or energy to spend on gear slutting. I've got a couple of weeks before the holiday crazy stuff starts and a little cash has been stashed away in my own personal slush fund so I figger what the heck. Might as well have some fun!

Also, I use IEM's for a vast majority of my gigs. And let me tell you, once I got used to them, IEM's blow anything I've tried/used away. Not even close. My "rig" weighs 3 oz. And cost $200 and change. I also control my own IEM monitor mix so allllll the bad stuff goes bye-bye (the keyboardist's left hand) and alllllll the good stuff stays. Sa-WEEEET!

I want to use the STL900 for my non-IEM gigs, of course, but also to add a little tone/grit/warmth before my signal goes to the board.

Also, did I mention Mr. Hoyt is sending me a bass to try out??? Oh man...It's gonna be a good week!

The STL900 does not require a speaker load like the older tube amps do. Therefore, for your IEM gigs the STL900 will make a GREAT standalone DI. [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

+1 My Streamliner is also my living room silent practice rig - aux in for an mp3 player, tuner out, headphones out. Great little package.

Hey, that just got me thinking...I wonder if I can use the Aux In for my IEM monitor mix?? Dang...it just may work.

I'm really....REALLY trying to not get too excited. And Pete, shuddup!! (That was a pre-emptive "shuddup"!) [smilie=angry-smiley-005.gif] [smilie=cheeky-smiley-025.gif]

There's a whole thread on TB on the EQ settings with the Streamliner. From what I've read, turning one knob also affects the other eq points so it takes a little getting used to.

The one thing I found disappointing about the STLs, was the bag. The zippers on mine fell apart pretty quickly, so I went back to carrying them around in laptop bags.
