I knew you should have gotten the snake skin cover. :hid:

Well, you really can't go wrong with the MB 150 combo for upright. Having owned both, its more useful IMO, YMMV, etc

But if you have not purchased yet I would urge you, or anyone looking to get a good deal on GK gear, to hit up RMC audio.
If you join the buyers club for $.99 you get discount prices better than anywhere. If you don't want to spend the whole dollar, you can request a quote for that amount and it will get approved.

The new MB112-II is $319.20
279.20 for the powered cab 112

Sonuvabitch. You know....I forgot about that. And that's quite a bit of money saved.

I knew you'd chime in. [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

Hey... You never know. I'm not a huge fan of the "GK sound" but the little MB15-ii kicked. Sounded more open and packed a bigger punch than the new Rumble stuff and even the much more expensive Mark Bass stuff. Good looking little thing, too. YMMV, IMO, etc etc.

I might do a little "cab stuffing" with some good speaker fill material I have on hand for just such an occasion. But we'll see. Stay tuned...

This is exactly what I am trying to do for myself. I already have the combo amp, and as soon as enough cash is built up I will get the powered cab. Right now most of my money is being used to fix my car.

I glued some egg cartons inside mine to killl the standing waves
and made it sound a little more tighter/focused.

Not sure if I like the change yet though...

They're here!

Sounds great! Being kinduv an old fart, I'm still surprised at how much sound can come out of such little, light rigs. First the Carvin MB's and now the GK MB's.

Only thing is, the combo has tolex covering and the extension cab is the black rhino paint and the "GK" logo carved into the side of it. You couldn't tell from even a few feet away, so that doesn't bother me. But any diff between the two "version-wise"?

Thanks! Talked to GK and they said there's no diff other than the cab covering.
