68 Tele Bass - Bridge

Leo got it right.

It's a 3 screw mount Pete. I'm going string through body so it's no issue about having only three.

As far as appearance - I'm running with the full compliment of ashtrays, so no one will know the difference.

Howard, is there a particular reason you place the bridge cover backwards? Just curious! That bass is f'n cool. [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]

Sexy bass, Howard! Thanks for sharing [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif] It's making my 3rd hour at the Honda dealership a bit more tolerable. [smilie=food-smiley-004.gif]

That's hilarious. It was on that way when i bought it, so that's how I put it back on. [smilie=icon_redface.gif]

I swapped it around and the finish is real light where the wings of the cover were. Just adds more mojo.

IIRC Pete, the reason players put their bridge ashtray on backwards was so the mute on the inside of the cover would not touch the strings. This is not from actual experience rather from what I've been told as there is no way I could actually afford the real thing right now. [smilie=grinning-smiley-044.gif]

That's one hella sexy bass [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

Yep, I always wondered why not just relocate the foam mute?
