Just scored a MIK P Bass

Postby nolabass » Mon May 20, 2013 7:39 pm

Just picked up a CL PBass Made in Korea, M1061711....which I assume is a '91 model. Maple neck, black with black guard. Simple bass, lot of maple snap....light and perfectly balanced at the neck pocket. Plywood body but it feels, plays and sounds good. Dude was gigging it for a while so it's setup to play.

$100 [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]

I don't know why I need a beater bass but.... the owner had it set up really low. The thing fretted good all the way up. Was really light and sounds great. i couldn't let a player go for that price. Being a ply body and shitty pots/wiring didn't deter from the playability.

For $100 it is a score with new pots and a bridge if you needed one.

Links: Yanno, you live a very short time and then you spend a very long time dead so eat great food, love extra hard, hold on for the ride, and play some bass along the way.
