It's a beautiful thing when it happens. Sadly, that type of kit playing is about as common as a keyboard player that knows how to stay out of the bass' territory.

Back to the OP, sounds like you need to keep both basses. You NEEEEEED to keep both fretted basses!

Mr.Mom is so right. I would take it a step further and keep the basses with the intention to swap out the necks and bodies to see how they sound, feel, set up etc. I do this often with my own basses, vintage or not. I have two (a P and a J) that about every 2 or 3 months, swap necks and go from XL lights to flats. Besides, isn't this kinda what Leo had in mind with the standardized, replaceable/swappable parts? To me, swapping this sh*t around is half the fun.

I'm like Mr. Mom in that I'm awaiting word on a possible deal with Kebo on this one already..........hehe..............keep ya posted..............

I don't......I'll have to figure out when it arrives.......I may plug it up......it's not the original single either, it's a Duncan......If i went the "plug the hole" route I'd send it off for a relic refin by MJT .... we'll see. I'm looking for a mojo'd old player, which is what this is........I'll report when it arrives.....
