my Stones tribute band bookings become even more interesting

Postby aussiemark » Tue Feb 08, 2011 7:49 pm

We took our first wedding booking today. Nice venue, I'm guessing we'll be well fed ... http://simmeronthebay.com.au

But, in even more interesting news, we're heading to Singapore again, in June - this time we're playing two shows at http://www.beerfestasia.com/index.php

Looks like a good room to play ....

How can you go wrong with a gig called "Beerfest Asia"?

Love this, taken from the website's "Dos and Don'ts"-
- No un-authorised busking/performances on festival grounds. We would have hired you if you were really good.

How can a beer-fest in Indonesia go wrong?? Well...I can think of a few ways without even trying. Oi-vey.

Nice gig there Mark! Be sure to bring back some crowd shots, I hear they used to flash Mick quite a bit.....

Thanks guys, it should be a great venue. Our shows in Singapore last December were at a relatively small and cosy Irish Pub, so this much larger room with a few thousand beer-filled audience members should be a blast!

The promoter who puts on Beerfest is the same guy who is bringing Bob Dylan to Singapore next month, so these shows will be a far bigger deal for us than the pub gigs we did on our previous trip. We should get decent backline provided this time, instead of the Marshall Valvestates and SWR Workingman combo we were given last year.

Or, you can carry on your Streamliner. [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]
