Degotoga Festival

Postby ghiadub » Wed Jun 20, 2012 6:58 pm

Out of the blue I get an message on FB to sub in a band from this drummer I have not played with in about ten years.

I don't see their band name on the flyer; should I be worried?

Ok, I did get the info, the band was a late add and I did see them on one of the bills. They just shot me to music, kinda Hendrix type stuff. Power trio playing blues rock. Groovin High is the band name.
The singer even sounds like Jimi, this should be fun.

This is shaping up to be a good summer for festivals, I just picked up another festival gig here:

One of my bands, the Campfire Crooners, is playing and I was asked to play with another band (Georgous George) that is playing earlier in the day.

Looks like Jimmi is playing this with the Terry Lauderdale band, Badass meetup?

Sorry for screwing up my own thread, the two band festival was last weekend (Sunay dragon).

Cool thing is that the band I was sitting in with won studio time (15hrs) at tangle wood studios, one of the better places to record in town.

The thing I am playing this weekend is the Degotoga festival and that also has Jimmi's shred band and I just found out on FB one of my other buddys band is playing there as well. Should be a hoot.
Thanks Gonzo
