Sun Feb 08? Did the MusicMan forum move to somewhere else I don't know?

There's always the Ernie Ball factory forum, Chuck. I've been ordering new MM basses like a nut lately.

This one arrived last year:

This one just arrived:

An HH Stingray with a solid rosewood neck will be next to arrive:

Last for now will be a Big Al like this but in metallic blue/rosewood:

I'm wondering how those rosewood necks will sound on the stingray.

Me too. Two people have gotten their Bongos with the solid rw neck and they like the tone, so I'm hopeful.

Very cool basses, Brad! Don't know if the ErnieBall forum is the right place for me because I only play my preEBs...
Necks entire rosewood? They won't sound like MusicMan?

Neither does my 'hog body 30th anniversary Stingray. Musicman have embraced a wide range of tones these days. Those Big Als look cool too.

New MusicMan basses

The interesting thing for me in all the new basses MM has been releasing is they DO still sound like MusicMan basses.

This is good. And I do believe that it is good for MusicMan. I've had lots of basses the last years, some very cool from Brad - but I had the sound I've been looking for at home. Maybe I'm conditioned to the StingRay sound over the years.

Chuck, at the moment all I have is a batch of preEB basses as well, but I'm still hanging out over there. I traded off my 2eq '07 Ray a couple of month ago now. It's incredible because last year I had 5 EBMM's.
