25th Quilted Anni

25th Quilted Anni

Resistance was futile. I just placed an order for my 25th Quilted Anni HSS with rosewood board. I asked for an ebony board and maybe the Gods will look down on me and make it so.

Jimi

My contact (Tom Sebastian) at Jim's Music Center in CA is confirming the ebony option today.

Congrats Jimi! I've heard very good things about the anniversary models but haven't had a chance to play one yet. I'm going to BassNW this weekend to fix that...

Brad

Did you eventually get to handle and play one? Your respected opinion?
I might wait for the player edition next year and get into a fiver.

Jimi

PS: I don't think I thanked you for the tapered tuner posts. Thanks.

That was a hard decision to make. I would like to get more into a fiver, but the 4 & 1 headstock sort of turns me off. I have a beautiful G&L 2500 with a flame maple top, cherryburst and matching headstock with ebony board, no markers and body binding. 3 & 2 headstock.

But, the Anni sounds and feels so amazing, I might trade in the G&L and get a new fiver from MusicMan when the Anniversary is released as a stock model. I'm thinking natural with rosewood or Tranny teal and possibly a maple board.

Jimi

BP are you listening? Call it Anni Ball or Anni Luv (the name I've given my 25th)
