I've been wondering why it's been so quiet in here with all of the cool MM stuff going on!

Are we talking about the "re-issue" of the slab body Stringray? I'm really tempted. The 7.5 radius, the sea foam green color, 2-band (well that option is still available), slab body, mutes. I think it'll be a very nice bass. [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

I dig the Sea Foam Green with maple. Plus, string mutes kick ass. [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif]

And for an upcharge they'll do a figured maple neck too. I also believe they are going to have the vintage small frets. I'm not sure exactly when MM switched to the larger frets. I think it was sometime in '78.

My 79 has small frets FWIW.

Don't hold me to this but I heard someone mention around $1700, I think that was with the fancier neck upcharge. I don't know if that's pre-tax or not.

I'll be tempted, once some used ones come on the market at affordable prices. New, downunder, they will retail for around US$3000.

It appears White pickups will be an option.

I have serious gas for Vintage Sunburst (or maybe Black) [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif]

Not in stock. I believe this will be one of their limited runs for those that order within the window.
