Pickguards for 30th Anniv SR4

Pickguards for 30th Anniv SR4

Postby Reb » Wed Jun 09, 2010 10:32 am

Just thought I would pass this along,

I was searching for a OEM new backup pickgaurd for my recently aquired used 30th anniversary SR4 and found one at : (NO AFFILIATION)

James Bethea The Perfect Bass, LLC
www.ThePerfectBass.com
866.751.3220

They had 2 more left (I bought 1of3) that they bought from EBMM and they are reasonably priced. These are the 5-Ply BWBWB that were OEM PGs. Just thought I would pass it along, and James was very helpful locating these out of their stock. They have also aquired some other stock PGs for those who may be looking.

Yeah, this is a zombie thread, I know ....
But I been away for awhile so as the dood
who will drill holes in collectables, I wanna
point out that altho I did NOT drill any in
my SR 30th, I did put a torty guard on it.

And I'm not part of the Torty Madness
Gang. I just swapped it from another SR4.
The SR30 PG is now on another ax and is
sporting a big EBMM "Balls are Best" decal.
As a disrespector of all instant collectibles,
I have no incentive to worry about it. If I
sold the other bass it would still have the
SR30 PG .... with decal.

Anyway, the deep crimson SR30 looks way
ultra sooper with the torty. What wuzzzzz
BP thinking ... about the black on crimson
I mean. I spoze the advice came from the
same BMW design moe ronz as the Boingo
body ?

just gotta find the pix .....

and hope I still have enuf storage space here
so I can attach them. I don't have my own web
connection so I don't have online photo storage.

Those sites can be very virus infested, so I'm
not gonna count on any friends' pooters to be
well protected, only to discover they are not !

ok so i attached the pix to the previous post.

as you can clearly see, if you wanna put your
officially collectible anniversary pg in your safe
deposit box, just you do that .... and don't fret
over finding another 5-ply black & cream for
those risky roadhouse gigs. Torty will serve as
well, if not better.

big pic below is of the 'donor' ax, which now
wears a 5-ply black & cream pg [with ebmm
"balls are best" decal]. You might notice this
perticlear sr4 has FIVE control knobs instead
of frets. Thaz just how I like my rays. sr5 in
smaller pic also has 5 knobs and no frets. it's
become ms diva's latest fave.

sooooo ..... golem been flexing his plastique
whilst he were away. There's more, but I'll
put that somewheres else.
