A FAKE PAYPAL PAYMENT EMAIL confirming the delivery of the money, and I sent the bass from Italy to UK...

I post this message hoping to have some news... if you see it please contact me, the Scotland Yard and Italian police have already been advised.

Can you help us understand how this Paypal transaction went down? Some insight might help an unsuspecting seller, thanks and good luck.

Harleyy,
yes let me explain, it could be an experience for all of you.
The announce was published on a announce website: no ebay or similar. Just simple and plain announce.

I receive a mail from a GMAIL (I guess is trustable, but it's NOT) user.
He ask about how much is the expedition in the UK, he gives me his address, he will pay for expedition. Payment will use the Paypal.

I immediately check the cost with DHL and give him the Paypal email.
One hour later arrives one email from service@paypal.co.uk <service.paypal@verified-online.com> that claims the concluded transaction, and the money will be charged on my account after I'll provide the tracking number and expedition arrives.
Email is false, the real mail address is not Paypal, but I know it just now.
Moreover, I'm not expert with paypal, so I guess that it's normal that the account from the Paypal website is still stopped to the original.

The fake Paypal sends me an email asking to provide the DHL tracking number, without this they cannot proceed with payment.

So, I send the bass and... finished!
Moreover, it's quite probable that with the tracking number, anyone can stand in front of an unused/abandoned house and retire the instrument.
So the address is probably a fake too.
