Ahh.... good ole familiar

Ahh.... good ole familiar

Postby Gil Escalera » Wed May 27, 2009 10:55 pm

My fretless is a Lakland 55-94 Deluxe that I bought off of Don Kane. When I got it, it had some unknown flats on it (E-A-D-G) and a Joe Osborn flat on the B (which I've never cared for). The unknown flats were nice and even though I planned on changing them out, I liked them so I didn't. Until tonight. ;)

I put some Chromes on tonight and played it for about an hour or so. Those 'unknowns' may have been Ok, but the Chromes.... Ahhhh. Like a pair of old familiar jeans. [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

Now I can hardly wait for Saturday. [smilie=icon_mrgreen.gif]

To "B" or not to "B"... that is the question. ;)

Me too! I put a new set of Chromes on one of my basses and it's getting much more play now.

That blue light is from the Shuttle 6.0 sitting on top of a Genz Benz LS-112T.
