Pedulla buzz

Just in today from bassvirtuoso (his pic) Thanks again Dave!! [smilie=icon_biggrin.gif]

It has the coated fretboard, and lives up to the buzz. Just a great sounding instrument. The balance is pretty amazing too, very well made and super lightweight.

I have an old Pedulla that needs a new board. Maybe I can find a local luthier that would be willing to put a new ebony board on it for me (for not too much $$). Mike Pedulla wants big bucks to do a new board.

Yup. I am missing the 18v headroom of my other active basses, I might have to wire in another 9v.

The other bart preamps I have used came with another battery jack to wire in series, do you know if anyone does this mod to the preamps that Mr Pedulla uses? I think it is an NBT.

I have to admit, that is one bass I have never been able to get past the looks on. Just looks goofy as hell to me, like any chance you have of looking cool is going out the window thanks to the 'Droopy Wang' upper horn.

I know, I know...it's not the bass, it's me.

This bass sings. Capable of microtonal leaps in harmonic conclusions, it makes wrong notes sound right.

It makes me a better bassist, or at the very least, it makes me sound like a better bassist.

This bass has "IT"

Always loved the look of their fretboards.
Never noticed the wangitude myself.

Played one a few years back
and what struck me was the sustain.
The way the notes seemed to bloom instead of decay.

We could go in halfsies on it and saw it right down the middle! [smilie=food-smiley-004.gif]

"No case." Oh! Dealbreaker! I love that it's called a "Tennessee", too. It's so "Nash vegas!" Awesome

LOL. Cutting it in half might be the only way to make it playable.

I rescued a Buzz bass from a pawn shop in the 1980's. Paid $400 for it and a G&L L-1000. LOL

I have not been without a Buzz bass since then. My current one is a Pentabuzz with the 19mm string spacing. Awesome axe.

The look of the bass is certainly different. Michael started with a clean sheet of paper. However, play one and you will most likely love it.
