Patsy's new fretless

Patsy's new fretless

Postby cheezewiz » Thu Jan 17, 2008 2:01 pm

Someone say fretless? THIS, is showing up at the Patsy residence in the next day or two. I was originally looking for a Tony Franklin P, but used ones are tough to find, and I found this. I've always been a fan of the SR5, so I thought what the heck!

I have another fretless, but I suppose it should really be shown one forum above this!

Just curious as to where you got that from. I had one just like it that ended up with Fretlessrock Pete. If so, that bass has been around but never stayed too long with any one person. It's a great bass if ya like that many strings :)

IIRC Peter Brunelli's SR5 has the piezo bridge, and it "replaces" his Turner Electoline. Not trying to play the town historian here, but seems to me that if Pete were parting with his piezo FL [again] it would be for something so special that there'd be a lotta chatter about it and we'd all notice whatzup.

New basses are red. Used basses are black.

This one has the piezo too. It could be the same bass. It has a scratch above the pickguard near where the neck joins, and a ding right below the midrange knob if that helps ID it.

Nice looking bass... it'll be great when they finally finish the neck. ;)

Very nice cheesey one. ;)

Could be the one Brunelli had. He didn't have it too long, and moved it when his Zon 5 fretless took over the #1 spot from his Turner Electroline 5 fretless.
