Looks comfortable to my eye. I think these need a little vintage vibe......said the blues player. Heh.

Kinda reminds me of a Dano guard......maybe cream with a pin stripe? [smilie=tosser.gif]

Nice looker Pete! How's she play?

PS. I'm leaving the cat photo alone - that pic would be great for a caption contest!

Mark, it's even better than I remember these at being when I played one at NAMM in 04 after a lengthy wait for the amp at the booth ( see pic below). I always knew these were a big bang for the buck, great vintage thump and an awesome feel. Couldn't pass this one up, it's minty like new.

Ok, what caption is on your mind for the kitty cat ? [smilie=grinning-smiley-044.gif]

Sweet bass Pete! Congrats!

I'd skip the guard - I think these look much better without.

I dig it Pete I played one at a bassfest GTG last year and dug the way it felt and played I didn't get to put it through an amp though. Good deal to boot [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif] ...

Congrats Pete, these are on my very short list of hollowbodies I want, that will likely not have neck dive.
