$800 out the door, burst finish, with case, and sweet knob upgrade. Dayum, you lucky ass mofo, you were rightfully powerless to resist that temptation. I SO want a Lakie hollow, it is my main source of GAS right now, and has been for some time. Fuggin GAS...

Congrats [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif]

I'll be interested to hear how much it gets worked into the rotation with your other sweet axes...

Verrry Nice, Harrrley.
Man, great price. I wonder how much GC gave the poor mofo they got it from. They once offered me $275 trade in value for a '77 Ric 4001.

Enjoy!

Actually, it was a producer/bassist named Jason Slater, my guess would be around $500? He brought in 3 basses, so ya, he took a hit.

Definitely a different beast, with the flats on there now, itdoes the rock P sound real well. I'll take it to the next reharsal. Seeing what the USA models go for, this one makes alot of sense given the marginal differences....Keeper. [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]

Again, thank for twisting my arm.

Welcome... hollowbodies are not everybody Cup O' Jo. I think it's a very playable, good sounding fairly priced hollowbody to have in the stable. They are so very close to the US version afterall.

A good reason to kick up the acoustic stuff we used to do. Much more manageable than the Tacoma Thunderchief I had.

Well, we'll see. Laklands don't seem to stick around your stable too long. [smilie=cheeky-smiley-025.gif] I am sure a lucky BABP will benefit if the decision comes to sell.

You're right, 3 came and went, but this appears safe. I REALLY dig it.

I really like playing the Lakland HB - the issue I had with it was the pickups. I thought the Barts were too expansive on the low end - a little woofy and difficult for me to control. I spent about 10 minutes with one so I wouldn't say I spent any time figuring it out. I always wanted to try one with hammond pickups - my Starfire was too woofy before I put in the Dark Stars and now it's the tits.

Well guess who happened to call yesterday? I think we'll be seeing more of Fred around here soon. You know I'm a fan, and that thought has crossed my mind on this bass Steve, but to soon to tell if I will go there.
