Lakland 55-64 5 String P-Bass anyone?

Man...almost no info on these. Did they not impress anybody? Anybody play one? Sound bites? I am considering saving up for a Skyline 5-String to travel with, feeling nervous flying with my 55-94. I have always wanted a JO5 but am attracted to the P-Bass thing as well. I know I'll like the right JO5 but the P-Bass might fill my blues band needs a little better.

The Skyline 55-64 features a 35" Scale graphite reinforced 5 string neck popular among professionals who require vintage tone and styling with a killer sounding low B. One custom-wound Lakland pickup provides a bruising punch and drive that nails the vintage split hum bucker tone, sending it through the roof with full voicing and modern energy. The body and 35" scale maple neck have an excellent balance. The 55-64 captures the rich and defined power of those early basses that revolutionized the four-string low-end world. The tone and power of a well-preserved vintage instrument with flawless Lakland fretwork and neck refinements make this another of our modern classics. Lakland Skyline luthiers now do their fret work using Plek technology to assure optimum playability. Plek is a CAD/CAM machine with scanning capability. It was developed to perform high-speed, highly accurate fret dressing, nut and bridge slotting and shaping, and engraving work. When used by an experienced luthier, the Plek machine produces necks with fretwork and action that equal the very best handwork and does it consistently.

I think you should buy one, decide you don't like, and then give it to me. [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

I've never seen one, but it sure has my attention now!
