My vote is for Infeld Superalloys. All the good of rounds w/out all the bad of rounds.
I don't know and I don't care,

Strung the top 4 with an old set of TI flats....waaaaay better. I like what the 35" scale does with the TI tension. Was beginning to think I didn't care for Laklands new pups but the strings are the reason. At least I know it can be worked with. Diggin it really....a real 5 string P that works.

OH HELL YA....that's the ticket. I really enjoyed the bass tonight. The flats may not stay, the RR B string may switch but tonight I heard a P Bass with a B string. The Blues guys DUG IT. Can't deny the authority a well placed low note has dynamically in a band situation. Happy. [smilie=grinning-smiley-044.gif]

She's beautiful Pete. Slap some TI Jazz Flats on there and you're gonna be groovin. Ditto the anodized guard (or maybe tort...)

Strung the bass up with Lakland Medium Nickles. Better...need some time to mellow but not a bad match. I like the TIs but wanna give these a fair chance. Let them get some grease in'em.
The B string is by far strongest and clearest with this set on this bass. I read these are just GHS but I remember trying the GHS and not being as happy. I have always had Lakland strings on the 55-94.
