What color pickguard for a Sherwood Green Glaub?

What color pickguard for a Sherwood Green Glaub?

Postby DKWilkins » Sat Nov 03, 2007 6:52 pm

Picked up a nice US Bob Glaub P/J in Sherwood Green, it has a mint color pickguard but I'm thinking about swapping it out. What say you guys? Suggestions for a cool color combo? I've had black suggested and that sounds pretty good, but are there other colors that would go well against the Sherwood Green?

Out of left field, I'd be interested to see how it might look with either red tort or brown tort.

You know Mark, that's not really so "left field"... I've actually thought about a tort of some type... anybody got pics?

Kinda spendy, but a Lakland gold ano might look amazing on Sherwood green.

Cream pearl is nice but can be overbearing.

Here's my 55-94.

I think Brown tort looks great on Sherwood Green- otherwise, I'd go mint

I vote mint, but that creme pearl is very cool. [smilie=confused-smiley-013.gif] Both would be very cool. Congrats on the new bass.

I'm not a big fan of white.... but creme/vintage Pearloid would be cool. OR - how about black?

Diggin that last one - looks like Greg Brady's room when he moved up to the attic!

The black and the tort both look good - I'm liking the black too David. Hey, fwiw I do have a Gold Ano pg that came with my white BG. If you're interested, shoot me a pm. Its too bling-bling for my tastes - but I think it does have a different drill pattern. Apparently the Ano's are made by Cort for both the US and Skyline Glaubs.
