Lakland Service Rawks!

Postby Chef » Thu Feb 07, 2008 12:41 pm

Some time ago I bought a used Scheff from Quadzilla.
Unbeknownst to him, the Fralins in it were not installed at the factory; and, whomever had done the work had munged it up pretty good inside.
The two clues I had that something was wrong were:
-battery draining in about 10 days
-treble response pretty weak despite using all the boost the preamp had.

Lakland Service asked me to ship the bass back to them.
I did.
They re-wired it back to proper, and shipped it back to me (expedited) that day; and all for something like $50.

My Scheff is now a certified ass-whipper, and,
Lakland Service Rawks!

that is all;)

Yes they do. Always had good service from Dan & Co. But I always delt directly with them too.

I would expect nothing less from Lakland Service. They are the yardstick by which all others are measured.

Cool bass, the gold looks really nice with maple. Curious, did they quote you a price to put lipsticks back in it?

No Doubt! They replaced a DJ neck because of the grain separating on a 5 year old bass and all I had to pay was shipping!
