I remember Frank Marino hauling around a 4x8 sheet of plywood full of pedals, but that's just crazy right there. We have a local "percussionist" who takes a trailer full of crap to every gig and literally uses every single piece at some point, with total disregard for musicality. I would imagine this a similar deal.

Unless it's somebody here....then I take it all back. [smilie=cheeky-smiley-025.gif]

I don't get it, anyone with a lot of pedals could patch them together - order wouldn't matter obviously in this scenario but he should have posted a "what order should i put these in?" thread somewhere. At least they raised a lot of money for the Kidney Foundation.

That's not a lot of pedals. That's an issue. Who takes care of this person?

I wonder how bad that insane signal/pedal chain eats tone? Still, it definitely has novelty appeal - I mean heck, I'd step in that ring o' madness and have a go [smilie=food-smiley-004.gif]

To answer your question though Pete - Hell no I wouldnt haul that beast. What a potential nightmare ! [smilie=smilie_kopf.gif]

When I have more than two things to patch together I start having a seizure. I can usually fight it off though.

somewhere in a conrner there is a guy muttering, stuttering "bbbbraddshaww, must call bbobbb"
I used to look at my dog Smokey and think, "If you were a little smarter, you could tell me what you're thinking," and he'd look back at me like he was saying, "If you were a little smarter, I wouldn't have to." - Fred Jungclaus

Well, maybe it's better than meds. Probably a pretty good idea! [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif] Really it's just an extension of the whole 'gearhead' thing... I suppose...

Doesn't this kinda defeats the purpose of having a bassist in the band? I would wonder who is holding the bottom while this guys is making all these interesting noises.

Did you play bass in Mahogany Rush? I saw them in Orland FL in 1980, at the "World Music Festival", which was really a stupid-huge open-stadium rock marathon. Saw Cheap Trick, Blackfoot, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent... and Frank Marino. He destroyed the drum kit and amps at the end of his set- truly a violent episode, actually; not your Pete Townsend boy-has-testosterone-fit trashing, but real damage getting laid down- or so it appeared.

So, was that you playing bass?

Could you imagine Rain Man owning this? I'd switch two pedals just for shits-n-giggles! [smilie=fun_84.gif]
