Amp Modeling?

Postby hmagman » Sat Nov 21, 2009 8:39 am

Anyone with experience with the BP200? Interested in the quality of the amp and enclosure modeling for recording.

Thanks!

I had a BP200 for a bit, it was a tone sucker for live gigs.

Are the Line 6 bass amp modeling pedals OK? [smilie=smilie_kopf.gif]

I use my Bass POD XT Live more as a multi-effect than for it's amp modeling.

Found the one model I liked
(can't recall which one)
and tweaked it into each saved preset.

I like it and it works well for direct home recording or as a floor pedal live.

I have a Tech 21 VT bass pedal that does a decent Ampeg sound.

It seems to get the speaker saturation part going which is key IMO.

Thanks guys I'm planning to check out both...

Bottom line is I think I need one for some upcoming recording projects. Gotta figure out which one is most versitile for different musical styles. [smilie=smilie_kopf.gif]

Easier said than done.
