Made a trade over there for this. Not usually a fan of bass distortion. Could be fun if nothing else. ... ortion.php

Almost a year to the day after the original post, I picked up a couple of these pedals.

Pros: really great range of tones, very flexible
Cons: plastic box is cheap, too much hiss for me

Verdict: worth keeping on my pedalboard.

I have the envelope filter which is way flexible although I don't think the phaser function works that well. Will tinker with settings some more. Only thing I don't like about this one is there's no level control for mixing in dry signal. But that's a nit b/c I really like this pedal.

I have the distortion also and it's the first bass distortion I've really liked. The foldback distortion is really cool and gives kind of an envelope filter-y sounding "doink" to your notes. Again a very flexible pedal.

Lots of different noises in a small package and really doesn't sound "digital" to my ears.

This is a crapload of pedal for the money folks.

If they'd use quieter Op amps for their gain stages and put the pedal in a decent metal case, I'd gladly pay twice as much.
