Preamp DIs

Hi folks,

Been a while, a long while.

I did get a VT Bass DI and it's worth the LONG wait. Great unit. I use just a touch of warm tube emulation, and there's a wee bit of compression that seems to be there, too.

I also have a Tone Hammer. A different animal for sure, but also one I won't part with. The parametric mid is worth the price. Also very versatile.

Both units take a bit of a learning curve, and they are both great for going direct or through an amp.

I have a hammer as well. Great for when I don't want to or can't bring an actual amp. I have a festival gig coming up and the backline will be not my cup of tea. I plan on just DIing the TH and not using the backline at all.
