Started in the mid 80's, never committed to it and stopped playing until 18 months ago.

Picked it up late 70's, put it down most of the 80's, pick it up again, 91-93...had a blast, put it down again 93-2006...had a family. This time, although it's for no one else but me really, I'm never letting go! Now I always ask myself, Have you hugged your Bass Today? [smilie=icon_biggrin.gif] "Children Don't Stop Dancin' - Creed" [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif] comes to mind...

Keep it real, feel it low, why ever let go [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif]

First gig in '74. Professionally as part of my meager income since 83'.

I guess Dad was right. Hard to make a living as a musician. On the other hand I have spent 35 years chasing my dreams instead of giving up on it in college. 35 years of feeding my soul . Just following what God gave me talent to do. No regrets.

Started bass in 1979.. brief hiatus from mid 80s to about '91. Started a band with friends... still have the band but I'm the only original member left. Also played saxophone, guitar, drums and keyboards over the years.
