Sad news indeed. Add to that I found out when I saw the article that Keith Emerson died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound in March of this year. While prog rock was on my radar for about 2 weeks, I appreciate his contributions ti the genre and wish i could sign like him. No mistaking that voice. RIP Greg Lake.

Greg Lake is one of the reasons I play bass. I started out as a guitar player in 7th grade, and as I got into my early high school years I got into prog rock in general. I listened to ELP and took note of Greg Lake, who played guitar, sang...and also played bass. To this day I sing, play guitar...and play bass.

RIP Greg Lake.
