According to the Atlanta Rhythm Section's website, Paul and original lead singer Rodney Justo are back playing and performing with the band! [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

Yes he is right here having lunch at one of his regular spots. I just met him trough a friend who use to baby sit some of the band members kids. the man is very nice and great to talk to . soryy cant tell the bars name per his request ... but if you ever get the chance to meet him you will never forget it ... his advice to me was .... stay cool ... and keep playing

That's cool. I always liked his bass lines. I remember way back when I was younger, I got to see ARS when they were the opening act for Alice Cooper at the Providence Civic Center, I was quite surprised that he didn't look like a rock star but he played so beautifully. I still enjoy me some ARS tunes. [smilie=icon_biggrin.gif]

Just heard Paul passed away.

USA Today obit for Paul Goddard

RIP

To this day, I use the bass solo from Champagne Jam to test basses.
