I know I mention a lot of players in the fame section as influences, but Andy Fraser was in my top five when I was just learning bass. Awesome player who played the most choice notes for a song, and still step out at the same time! For me, Free had everything....a guitar player with a incredible feel, solid drummer and one of the best singers in rock at the time. I still listen to Andy Fraser a LOT! [smilie=cool-smiley-027.gif]

what type bass did he play? it almost sounds like a tuba on "All Night Long". He definitely played some tasteful lines. wasn't he a teenage prodigy?
