Welcome to the studio guys! Beside discussing gear and technique I would like to use this forum to archive MP3s as well as create MP3s amongst ourselves. As a trial run I plan on posting grooves....Y'all download them and add to them. Duet exercises and trios would be a great workout. This forum combined with the Charts forum would be a nice archive of exercises and chops. Anybody interested? Lets create some bass only sound bites to give this forum a personallity. Scales, modes, trios, duets, solos......get some of you solo guys recording with some of us pocket guys....

Links: Yanno, you live a very short time and then you spend a very long time dead so eat great food, love extra hard, hold on for the ride, and play some bass along the way.

Sounds like fun, I have a Zoom digital 8 track that works well. I'm still kind of new to the mp3 thing but I could copy an mp3 to a cd, insert the mp3 into a track, add to it, put it back on cd, and post the new mp3 file. I can also convert WMV's to mp3.

Right now, all I have is the Belkin iPod 1 room mic picking up my bass on our myspace page.

There is an internal band link with other rehearsals recorded. Tone sounds good. My only problem with these tracks is...well I'm just walking bass lines. Nothing fancy.

Once I start writing more recognizable bass lines to tunes, and we get them up I'll post.
