Here's a few meager examples of me, doin' what I do...holding down the bottom...

Home studio-recorded classic rock demos:

Don't Want You No More / Not My Cross To Bear (My all-time fave ABB tune)
Shaky Ground (Me on vocal, sadly...)

On upright, with my bluegrass band (studio recordings)

White Cross Highway (One of my original tunes)
Middle Georgia Rundown (little quickie bass solo on the end)
Brass Buttons (another of my originals)

Cathi's Song
The opening song from my Solo Bass CD which features my son Nicholas' voice in the introduction.

The closing track.

Classical Bit

Just a home studio demo of a tune I am working on.

Another Brilliant Role

Words: T. Francks & K. Shatzov

I did it all except for writing the last verse, which was the inspiration for the song.

Thanks Pete! means alot coming from you bro.
I had a blast recording the live stuff last year, that was a really fun gig. all 11-13 year olds in the audience totally soaking in everything we were doing up there! I made the entire school CD's of this recording and I still get kids talking to me about that day.

A few things

Postby amcrory » Sat May 06, 2006 3:34 pm -- that's got a bunch of weirdly different stuff.
That's a goofy downtempo version of a Duke Ellington tune. I'll probably do more with it later (that's just one time through the form playing the melody). All tracks (except for percussion, natch) are my '75RI Jazz. I tried to do a Charlie Hunter thing in the B section (the chorusy-tremolo comping line) as an organ vibe.

Misc stuff from over the years:

Some home studio tracks; mostly just for fun.
Piccolo bass montage

A few studio dates.
Midnight Mood
Did this for my buddy Dave Wendler who built the bass I'm playing on this track.

This was a rough mix dumped to cassette.

A date for the American Bible Society.

De Panman
This is a rough take from Othello's debut CD; all instruments tracked live, but before overdubs and cleanup. I don't think Othello knows I have this. [smilie=icon_wink.gif]
