Ok, now I'm really glad that I no longer go by "fresnorich". First Amber Frey, then K-Fed (that's Kevin Federline or Mr. Britney Spears), and now this guy. I think I saw him play a Chapman Stick at the local university years ago (there can't be that many guys playing those things around here). When mentioning local celebrities, I shouldn't forget our beloved mayor, Alan Autry. You might know him as "Bubba" from "In the Heat of the Night".

Fresno is also the hometown of auto racing legend Billy Vukovich, author William Saroyan, Broadway singer Audra MacDonald, and baseball player Tom Seaver. So, we're not all losers.

This guy is too much, though. From his site:

"Armed with raisins, sing-along lyric sheets, and his giant super guitar, Kenney Fresno seeks to create a performance so dense, with a gravitational pull so great, that even light cannot escape. This black hole of entertainment is so heavy that it ultimately collapses on itself upon spewing the audience with all that is Fresno."

"Born in Oakland, Ca., raised in the cultural vacuum of the central San Joaquin Valley, Brian has extracted the Essence of Fresno (tm), and made it smell good (hence the surname)."

That's just gross. I don't want to be "spewed" by anything, especially anything containing the "essence of Fresno." Anyone who's been to Fresno and breathed some of the worst air in the nation knows what I'm talking about.

What a nut!
