Welcome aboard and congrats for your nice bass!!
I actually don't even know how you tune a 7-string beast, but I do know your bass looks sweet [smilie=food-smiley-004.gif]

damn, Jeff you mean low F# ?
that would be a little too LOW for me. What gauge around .145 - .150??? [smilie=coz.gif]
That must be a hell of a work with string tension for the guys who made the bass

Crazy shit! (for me)

Thanks for the compliments guys.
I'll probably going to tune it B,E,A,D,G,C,F , but I'm not really sure how I'm gonna tune the thing, and I broke the two highest strings.
They put the wrong gauge on in the factory, and when I got it, I tuned it up and the two highest strings just snapped....
But besides that, I love the thing.
Ash body, Walnut/Maple laminate neck, Ebony fretboard, Neck through...
Single coils, Active electronics, String through bridge...
It's one of the best investments I've made.
And only $400... I was amazed.

They can go even lower with the 10 string basses. Anything lower than a B to me is unusable, but they can be used well with the good subcontrabassists.

Low f# ...

Now there is ground I would love to tread. I'm sick like that!

I would love to hear that thing ride a low G or A . I'd be willing to bet that it sounds like heaven coming up from hell... ;)

BTW, You stoled that thing @ $400!

Yep, $400.
Unbelievable huh?
I actually had it tuned a hole step down for a while, and it sounded killer.
But unfortunately I really don't have an amp that can handle a low A, so I tuned it back up again.
