Do you think they'd be willing to pull out the L1000 again? A mahogany L1K would be great. [smilie=icon_biggrin.gif]

They're still doing unusual stuff, I've seen two special runs of guitars in the last year, and one store recently had a small run of SB-2T basses. They had three knobs and a side jack - vol/vol/tone!

Yes, the SB-2T was a run by RocketMusic. I know they've asked to see if G&L would do a run of LB-100's with a J pickup but that was shot down by G&L.

A total beauty...I love that green.

The ASAT that I owned many years ago (and I think it was late 80's model with the Leo signature) didn't have the belly contour...I see your ASAT has that...nice! I wonder if that
was a custom option as well.

I'm not sure, Bill. I can't remember whether the Belair Green ASAT I had was a slab or not...

I had a semi-hollow ASAT and it didn't have the belly contour. It was also very heavy. If I were to get another, it would most likely be a solid with the contours.

Oy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was the original owner of that bass. I bought it from a G&L employee who was supposedly "back dooring" instruments.
I sold it to Gregg (Frankensteinberger). It was called the "Diana Ross" bass at the old Dudepit.
She's a sweet bass and light, but at the time I was more in love with my natural ash ASAT and let her go during a cash crunch.
