L2KE Preamp

Have a shot at picking up an 81 L2KE, but only the passive circuit is working. Who can repair these?

I am also interested in finding a response to this as I have the same issue. That said, the bass sounds quite huge in passive mode.

Although I'm based in the UK, I could easily have a replacement circuit fitted here.

Repairing the E series pre's can be problematic and may not be worth it. After reading about some of the issues the old preamps had I decided to sidestep that.

I recently resurrected my L2KE Hog with a brand new L harness/preamp from G&L. Now it's just like a new one! Good luck!
