Cremona for sale locally $475

Is this a good deal? I'm told it is, but I have heard these are cheap Chinese made and prone to coming apart. I'd rather pay more for a nicer one knowing I can flip it at no loss if I need to. It's at a local shop, I haven't looked at it yet.

Run away....run far, far away! Especially if you're willing to spend just a little more for a much nicer Englehardt or one of the other "better" entry-level ply basses. There are even some Oriental imports like Shen that are much better buys in terms of resale value, durability, and general quality.

What Mike said.

I had one. I wish I would have asked before buying it, or went and played some real basses so I understood what a crappy bass it was.

This is the Johnson or Lotus of the upright world, calling it an SX would be giving it undeserved props.

Also, I picked one up for $400 with a bag and a pickup. THese go cheap for a reason.

No real need to pile on, unless it was to make my own snarky joke about how crappy they are. So...what they said. [smilie=lol.gif]
