Help identify this bass

Anyone know who makes this bass played by Bryan Horne from Hot Buttered Rum?

Edit: it has exteneded range ala fingers (like a Urge bass) that hold down the E string to a low c, the high string is a high C.

Sure, that's an Eminence EUB....looks to be a custom made model.

Your best price would prolly be from Bob Gollihur. I can't access his site from here at work, but my last recollection was that they run in the $2500 range. There are two models, fixed and detacheable neck. Apparently there are multi-string models too....that sixer is the first one I've seen, though.

Thanks again Mike, that is a bad photo, but it is a 5 string with an extension on the E to drop it down to a Low C.

I caught a show with Hot Buttered Rum last month and was amazed by the pops and body slaps on what I (wrongly) thought was not an acoustic instrument.

It will be a while before I can afford one, but GAS is building.
