Yep lotsa cheap sets on ebay. FYI, the ashtray with the F on it is for a jazz bass, so dont buy one for a P and mount it ... that is unless you want to, then go right ahead [smilie=icon_biggrin.gif]

Jazz bass
58 Precision bass

Funny story. The very first mod I ever did to any bass I owned was to put a set of ashtrays on my Pbass - this was almost 15 years ago. I went to a local music store and inquired about some ashtrays. Guitar guy was like "hey I have a set in the back Ill sell ya for 20 bucks" Brings out a set with a pretty F on it & 20 bucks later I walked out. I had not taken the time to research what they actually look like close up, just assumed guitar guy knew what he was talking about, went home and promptly installed a set of jazzbass ashtrays on my Pbass LOL [smilie=fun_84.gif]. Took me a few weeks to figure it out. Oh well, so is life - live and learn ie: do your homework first, Rhian [smilie=grinning-smiley-044.gif]
